Puzzle #11 – Vacancy

You go, Jo.

Happy end of September! We had a (personal) record-breaking day last Friday – over 1,000 visitors to the site! Big thanks to C.C. Burnikel and the folks at Crossword Corner – I think they had a hand in making that happen. Keep sharing the puzzle with your friends; maybe we’ll hit quadruple digits again today?

You’ll notice that parts of this grid are closed off pretty tightly. By the time you’ve finished solving the puzzle, hopefully you’ll know why. I’ve said too much already!

Oh, and Erik’s got another contest running this week. And here’s an ELO hit to match the one on his site.

This was one I did while copying off the screen. One has to be very careful while doing this. Plus it can cause a headache. & What’s with the Norfolk/VA Beach, VA clues?

  6. Matt Gaffney says:

Very nice! I’ll link to it on Friday.

This puzzle is sick. In the very, very good slangy sense.
